Dave S. of Omaha is a Chicago Cubs fan. One Friday last summer Dave, his son and his father were driving to Chicago for a Saturday Cubs game. As they neared the Quad Cities, their SUV started making a loud "growling" noise. They pulled in to a service station to call for help, and a woman buying gas told Dave to call Ace Auto Doctor & Repair in Bettendorf. Although busy, Larry Goff, Dr. Ace's owner, said, "Head on in! We'll find a way to help." Dr. Ace soon found the problem – but parts stores couldn't deliver a replacement in time for them to make the game. Dave said he couldn't afford a rental, so Larry came up with a plan: Larry would let him use a car (for FREE), and even though Dr. Ace is closed on weekends, they came in to fix my SUV. "All this extra service didn't cost me one dime more," Dave said. "WOW! It's hard to find people like that. But my family can tell you where to look – Ace Auto Doctors!"
